The National Ecological Centre of Ukraine invites partners, project participants, and interested organisations to take part in the wrap-up meeting of the project “Shifting Towards Ecotourism in Protected Areas Through Heritage Interpretation.”

The event will be held on 15 December 2025, from 11:00 to 14:30 EET, in an online format (Zoom).

During the meeting, participants will learn about the project’s key results, achievements, and success stories. The programme includes presentations on the experience of the Visegrad countries in advancing ecotourism, practical examples of heritage interpretation in protected areas, as well as a discussion on future development of the “Science for the Carpathians” network. An Idea Fair will bring together representatives of protected areas, museum institutions, and experts to exchange visions and outline further opportunities for cooperation.

  • The programme includes:
  • Opening remarks and partner presentations;
  • Visegrad countries’ experience in ecotourism development;
  • International cooperation and development of the “Science for the Carpathians” network;
  • Retrospective of project activities;
  • Presentations of student and institutional initiatives;
  • Idea Fair and discussion of future actions.
