The National Ecological Center of Ukraine together with our partners Democracy International and Change Communications, as part of the Ukrainian Vibes project from the German volunteer program ASA, which is supported by Engagement Global and funded by the Bundesministerium für wirtschaftliche Zusammenarbeit und Entwicklung (BMZ), invite high school students and students aged from 16 years old to take part in series of online workshops and seminars for cultural exchange between Ukrainian and German students “Crossroads of Change: Empowering Diversity, Embracing Europe – An Intercultural Journey with Ukrainian Vibes.“
The primary goal of these workshops is to facilitate a cultural exchange between Ukrainian and German students.
Through engaging discussions, we aim to provide education on various European topics, including insights into the upcoming EU Parliament elections in 2024. We believe that bringing together the diverse perspectives of both nations will enrich the conversation and contribute to a broader understanding of the European landscape. Participants will have the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations, broaden their horizons, and contribute to the cross-cultural dialogue surrounding the future of Europe.
We will talk about different topics:
1) 12th September, 17:00 CEST “Youth Voices Unite: Driving Change through Youth Participation in the EU and Ukraine”
2) 18th of September, 17:00 CEST “From Ukraine to the EU: Securing Rights Through the Charter of Fundamental Rights”
3) 19th of September, 17:00 CEST “From Crisis to Protection: Addressing Environmental Problems in Ukraine and influence for Germany”
4) 21st of September, 17:00 CEST “Raising Voices: Ukraine’s Role in Empowering Women in Europe”
All events will be held in English
