National Ecological Center of Ukraine together with partners invite young people and all interested parties to participate in a series of project events: ”Education for sustainable development: transferring V4 сountries’ experience for Ukraine’s recovery.” invites schoolchildren, students, public activists, teachers, professors and representatives of local governments to participate in a series of unique online seminars and in the Winter Session of the Carpathian School.
The main goal of the events is to transfer the experience of the V4 countries to the field of non-formal education for the future recovery of Ukraine.

19.10.2023 ➢ Sustainable development of the Carpathian region.
02.11.2023 ➢ Climate change mitigation and adaptation.
16.11.2023 ➢ Cultural heritage: open-air museums in the Carpathian region.
07.12.2023 ➢ Phytoremediation of polluted soils.
21.12.2023 ➢ Water scarcity and water supply in conditions of water shortage.
18.01.2024 ➢ Communication on climate change and environmental issues.
The most active participants will have the opportunity to receive financial support to participate in the Winter Session of the Carpathian School, which will be held in Kosiv on February 21-25, 2024, and to take part in a competition for the restoration and development of the Carpathians, within which the best works will receive funding.
The project is co-financed by the Governments of Czechia, Hungary, Poland and Slovakia through Visegrad Grants from International Visegrad Fund. The mission of the fund is to advance ideas for sustainable regional cooperation in Central Europe.
